WM1243P is the product number of The Wright Mask for peds (like the adult Wright Mask - WM1243A - it's adjustable and disposable)

Every parent knows it's tough enough to get your little one to take cough medicine let alone expect them to sit still for twenty minutes with a nebulizing mask over their nose and mouth followed by another twenty minutes with a trach mask on.

As a mother of a toddler Debbie was exasperated that her little one would tolerate sitting for only one mask. When Debbie removed the tracheostomy mask and tried to put the nose and mouth mask on, her daughter would squirm and fidget so much Debbie gave up trying to humidify her daughter's nose and mouth.

When Debbie's toddler began picking her nose, Debbie didn't realize there could be a direct correlation between the lack of nebulizing and dry nasal passages.

Unfortunately this is very common. A majority of children return to hospital for in-patient nebulizing stays a number of times a year. Each time a child returns, the emotional and physical cost to child and family is significant and the cost for each stay is staggering in terms of length of time in hospital as well as financial costs.

Since Debbie's toddler would sit for one nebulization session the Wright Mask solved Debbie's problem and more importantly solved her daughter's. It also saved them from one more in-patient nebulization stay.
